Happiness is Labrador shaped

Here to help

Why we are here

To promote the welfare of unwanted and destitute labradors in and around the North West.
To raise funds towards this aim.
To maintain the fund in the rescue's name for the benefit of the dogs in our care.
To rescue all labradors regardless of age
To operate an adoption scheme for the protection of these dogs.
To enlist the help of volunteers to vet prospective homes, transport and kennel dogs.
To offer help and advice to bereaved owners and offer assistance if necessary.
To publish and send out regular newsletters to all supporters and interested parties.
Above all, to provide a last chance of a happy and secure home to all unwanted, destitute or abandoned labradors.

Waiting List for Adoption

If you would like to go on our waiting list to adopt a dog please contact Glenys 01257 452500 or kathryn 01257 451143 or send an email via our mail form page. Please note that a home check will be carried out prior to adoption and we ask for a donation, as do all voluntary animal organisations, when you adopt a dog.

Once you have registered your desire for a dog, we will do our best to find one that suits your needs, providing you and your home are considered suitable for the dogs needs. Should you acquire a dog in the meantime, please let us know - others may be waiting!!
